Information Leads to ‘Most Wanted’ Cheyenne Man’s Capture
Another fugitive on the Laramie County Sheriff's Office's "Most Wanted" list has been captured, less than 24 hours after he was added to the list.
According to a booking sheet, 32-year-old Cheyenne resident Sawyer Neal Morrison was taken into custody at 11:22 a.m. Tuesday after deputies received information that he was at 906 Alice Ct.
Morrison was known to have a warrant out of Laramie County for burglary, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.
Circuit Court Magistrate Christopher Humphrey signed the warrant on July 10, 2024.
Morrison was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where he was booked on his warrant.
UPDATE:
Morrison was seen in Circuit Court on Wednesday and reportedly pled the burglary charge back down to a misdemeanor.
He's scheduled to be arraigned on Sept. 20, 2024, at 10 a.m.
Laramie County Deputies Are Still Looking for These Most Wanted Fugitives
Deputies are still looking for these nine fugitives:
Antonio Oros-Garfia, who was added to the list on Jan. 19, 2024.
Britney Breazeale, who was added to the list on April 18, 2024.
Julian Solis, who was added to the list on June 13, 2024.
Ryan Bixler, Matthew Campos, Justina Lopez, and Ross Maez, who were added to the list on Aug. 7, 2024, a day after appearing on the Sheriff's Office's "Clink-O" game.
And Carlos Garcia and Leviathan Stillwell, who were added to the list on Aug. 19, 2024.
