The Laramie County Sheriff's Office says four people were killed in three fatal traffic accidents in Laramie County during a special multi-agency Cheyenne Frontier Days traffic safety campaign.
Along with the Laramie County Sheriff's Office, the Wyoming Highway Patrol, Albany County Sheriff's Office, Laramie Police Department, and Pine Bluffs Police Department joined forces in the enforcement effort.
That's according to a post on the Laramie County Sheriff's Office Facebook page.

According to the post, the campaign ''resulted in 1122 traffic stops and 38 DUI arrests. The average blood alcohol content of those arrested was .147, nearly twice the legal limit. In addition to DUI enforcement, LCSO deputies also arrested three motorcycle riders for reckless driving and eluding law enforcement.''
According to the post, the LCSO is investigating an accident on Powderhouse Road that happened over the weekend. The Wyoming Highway Patrol is handling the investigations into the other two accidents
