UPDATE:

A wanted Cheyenne man is in custody thanks to help from the public.

Twenty-five-year-old Brian Ledezma was wanted for aggravated assault with a weapon, strangulation and numerous other charges.

On Friday, the Laramie County Sheriff's Office announced he had been captured.

The Laramie County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a wanted felon.

"Brian Ledezma is wanted for a felony warrant in relation to aggravated assault with a weapon and strangulation stemming from a domestic violence incident," said Lt. Don Hollingshead.

"He's also wanted for numerous other charges as well," Hollingshead added.

Ledezma is a 5-foot-9, Hispanic male weighing about 200 pounds.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at (307) 638-TIPS or dispatch at (307) 637-6524.

"We would wish that the public not approach him because of his violent nature," said Hollingshead.
