A 45-year-old Burns man has been sentenced to 75 to 105 years in prison for sexually abusing three minors, the Cheyenne Police Department in a Facebook post on Tuesday said.

Laramie County District Court Judge Catherine R. Rogers imposed the sentence upon John Robert Allen on June 4.

Case Background

According to police, the case started on June 26, 2024, after an officer was dispatched to a report of a sexual assault involving a minor.

"Investigators were able to determine that John Allen had abused three minors multiple times from 2013 through 2021," the post reads.

Allen was arrested on Sept. 6, 2024, and booked into the Laramie County Detention Center on charges related to the assault.

He pled guilty on Feb. 14 to three charges of sexual abuse of a minor and was taken into custody and held without bond at that time.
