High Wind Warning For I-25, I-80 In SE Wyoming Tuesday
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning travelers to be aware of high winds along portions of Interstates 25 and 80 on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
Some winds could gust as high as 65 mph, according to the weather service. The agency posted this statement on its website:
A High Wind Warning has been issued for the wind prone areas along I-80 and I-25 through 5 PM this afternoon. Sustained winds of 35-45 MPH with gusts to 65 MPH are expected for the period. Conditions will be breezy elsewhere. Travel will be hazardous especially for light and high profile vehicles. This includes light-weight trailers, moving trucks, and campers in addition to semi-trucks.
