Large Hail, Damaging Winds Possible In SE Wyoming This Weekend
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service is warning about the possibility of severe weather through this weekend.
The agency posted the following on its website:
August 28th, 2AM - There is a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) for severe weather across the region today, with a Marginal Risk in place for much of the area on Saturday and Sunday as well. Damaging winds and large hail will be the primary threats Friday and Sunday, with very damaging winds (70+ mph) possible with storms on Saturday. Luckily, tornadoes are not anticipated at this time. The most likely time for the strongest storms will be between 3PM and 9PM.
