A 40-year-old Rapid City, South Dakota woman is facing a felony drug charge following a weekend traffic stop in southwest Cheyenne.

According to a booking sheet, Stacee Moss Plenty Arrows was stopped near the College Drive exit on northbound Interstate 25 around 9:15 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, after a deputy with the Laramie County Sheriff's Office reportedly saw her run a red light.

The deputy says he "observed the obvious odor of suspected marijuana from the open window," and a probable cause search of Plenty Arrows' car revealed several pounds of suspected marijuana in plant, wax, and gummy form.

Plenty Arrows was arrested without incident and later charged with felony possession of marijuana, a crime punishable by up to five years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.

She was also charged with a misdemeanor traffic control signal violation.

Plenty Arrows made her initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Wednesday morning, during which her bond was set at $5,000 cash or surety and her preliminary hearing was scheduled for next Friday, March 1, at 9 a.m.
