Police contacted the suspect, Mark Romain Dunn, on the south side of the nearby Albertsons at 3355 E. Pershing Blvd.

Police say Dunn told them he was at the apartment to get a coat back from the victim, and that he used to live with the victim but was no longer a resident of the apartment.

'I'm going to kill you.'

The victim reportedly told police that Dunn had a metal club with him and started to swing it towards them while saying, "I'm going to kill you."

Police say the victim was not injured during the altercation.

Dunn was arrested and taken to the Laramie County Detention Center without issue and subsequently charged with aggravated assault and battery - threatens to use a drawn deadly weapon, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

Bond Set at $7,000 Cash

Dunn made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Friday, Oct. 4, during which his bond was set at $7,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Friday, Oct. 11 at 9:45 a.m.
