Cheyenne Man Charged With Burglary
A 28-year-old Cheyenne man is facing a felony charge after allegedly stealing items from a vehicle.
According to a booking sheet, Jayson Jermone Mullen, who lives in room 229 at the Pioneer Hotel at 209 W. 17th St., was arrested at 1:11 p.m. Wednesday after police knocked on his door.
Police say Mullen had a probable cause affidavit for his arrest.
Mullen was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center without incident and subsequently charged with burglary, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.
Mullen made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Thursday afternoon, during which his bond was set at $1,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Aug. 9, 2024, at 9:45 a.m.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

This isn't Mullen's first brush with police. He was arrested for aggravated assault in June 2020 after allegedly allegedly threatening a person with a screwdriver.
