
Cheyenne Man Charged With Felony Theft
A 32-year-old Cheyenne man is being held on a $5,000 cash bond after being charged with felony theft.
According to a booking sheet, Jacob Todd Burns was arrested at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, June 2, after police contacted him getting out of his vehicle in the 2000 block of East 15th Street.

Police say Burns provided them with a Wyoming driver's license and dispatch confirmed he had a warrant out of Laramie County Circuit Court for felony theft, a crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.
Burns was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where he was booked on his warrant.
Bond Set at $5K Cash
The following morning, June 3, Burns was seen in Circuit Court on the charge.
Burns' bond was set at $5,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Thursday, June 12, at 3:30 p.m.
