Cheyenne Man Accused of Making Machete Threat After DUI Crash
An 18-year-old Cheyenne man is facing a handful of charges, including a felony charge, after allegedly pointing a machete at people following a DUI crash.
According to a booking sheet, a Laramie County Sheriff's deputy was dispatched to West Winds Mobile Home Community at 505 Williams St. at 6:57 p.m. on Saturday, March 22, after Isaiah Allen reportedly drunkenly crashed a truck into a fence and threatened the neighbors with a machete.

The deputy says he contacted Allen at a nearby mobile home, and Allen told him that he drove the truck and parked it up the street.
.187 BAC
The deputy says Allen was visibly intoxicated and blew a .187, more than two times the legal limit.
Witnesses reportedly told the deputy that Allen pointed a machete at their faces in a threatening manner, and when they said they were calling the cops, Allen staggered to the nearby mobile home.
The deputy says Allen had no driver's license or proof of insurance.
Allen Charged With Aggravated Assault, 4 Misdemeanors
Allen was subsequently arrested and charged with aggravated assault and battery - threatens to use a drawn deadly weapon, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
He was also charged with four misdemeanors, including DUI, duty to stop, driver's license, and proof of liability insurance.
Bond Set at $5K Cash
Allen made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Tuesday, March 25, during which his bond was set at $5,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Friday, April 4, at 10 a.m.
Please remember that all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
