Cheyenne Police Looking For Car Burglar
Cheyenne Police are asking for the public's help in tracking down a car burglary suspect.
According to police spokesman Officer Kevin Malatesta, the crime happened on Halloween when a victim was working out at a local gym. He says the suspect went into the women's locker room and stole a set of car keys.
Malatesta says police are not identifying the specific gym at which the crime occurred.
The thief then used the keys to get into the victim's vehicle and steal her belongings, including a credit card which was used to go shopping at Walmart the same day. A photo of the suspect leaving Walmart is shown above.
Anyone with information about this or any other crime is being asked to call Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at 638-TIPS or go to www.silentwitnesslaramiecounty.com.
Tipsters may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
