Fifteen block parties will be held throughout Cheyenne on Thursday, July 10, as the community celebrates Cheyenne Neighborhood Night.

Now in its 16th year, the community-building event is designed to bring neighbors, businesses, and police together in partnership against crime in Cheyenne.

"It gives our officers the chance to have meaningful conversations with the people they serve, outside of emergency situations or enforcement," Francisco added. "It's all about getting to know each other as neighbors."

Police spokeswoman Alex Farkas says each block party (see locations and times below) will offer its own mix of food, games, music, and family-friendly activities.
