Chambers then asked for the state's bond recommendation.

"As the information indicates, Ms. Nelson does have a history of similar convictions from 2016 as well as earlier this year," the state said. "Additionally, she has a long history of failure to appears in 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2024. Those failure to appears have been on most of her charges here in Laramie County out of Municipal and Circuit Court. Additionally, she has a contempt of court from 2023."

"All of that gives the state concern for Ms. Nelson's ability and willingness to comply with court orders," the state added. "For those reasons, the state believes that a cash bond is appropriate and would request $4,000 cash."

Bond Set at $4K Cash

"I'm going to set a $4,000 cash only bond," Chambers told Nelson. "If you're able to post that I'll set conditions."
