1 Dead, 1 Arrested in Cheyenne Stabbing

An 18-year-old Cheyenne man is dead following a stabbing in the Avenues late last (Wednesday) night.

Cheyenne Police Department spokesman Officer Kevin Malatesta says police were called to the 3400 block of Bent Avenue around 11 p.m. after Ian Dangler got into a fight with 20-year-old Vincent Ramirez and 18-year-old Camilo Olivas.

"All three suffered knife wounds and Dangler died from his injuries," said Malatesta. "Shots were fired at the location as well, but no parties were struck by bullets."

Ramirez has been arrested for homicide, but has yet to make his initial court appearance.

The case remains under investigation by police.
