Work to Begin Monday on Upgrades to Cox, Spiker Parking Garages
Cheyenne residents may notice construction at the Cox and Spiker Parking Garages beginning Monday, as pay stations and automated parking hardware are installed.
The upgrades are expected to take several weeks, but the garages will remain open.
Until the automation becomes active, police will not be issuing on-street critical parking permits, however, anyone with a 2018 critical parking permit can still use it.
Police will soon be moving towards a plan for on-street parking and are seeking public input. Anyone with suggestions is asked to call Ted Miazga at (307) 637-6586.
