Utah Man Sentenced in Cheyenne Prostitution Bust
A 36-year-old Murray, Utah man was sentenced Monday in federal court to 40 months in prison for transporting two women to Cheyenne to engage in prostitution.
Terry Terrill Blanks was arrested on June 29, 2018, after an undercover detective responding to an online ad for prostitution made contact with two women inside a Cheyenne hotel.
The women told police they traveled with Blanks to Cheyenne, and one said Blanks was her "boyfriend" and "bodyguard."
Blanks reportedly admitted to being involved in the commercial sex industry, but denied any involvement and stated he was merely traveling with the women.
Blanks will be on supervised release for three years once he's released from prison.
