Tornado Warning Issued for Platte County
The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Tornado Warning for southern Platte County until 3:30 p.m.
At 255 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Bordeaux, or 10 miles south of Wheatland, moving
north at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Wheatland, Y-O Ranch, Chugcreek and Lakeview North around 330 PM

floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
