Tornado Warning

Tornado watch issued for areas of Albany and Laramie County.

Worland resident Brandon Yule shared the video, which depicts hail raining down in addition to the funnel cloud.

At 4:33 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 11 miles northwest of Iron Mountain moving southeast at 35 mph.

At 3:13 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 7 miles east of Cheyenne, moving southeast at 20 mph.

At 6:43 p.m. a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 15 miles south of Cheyenne, moving southeast at 40 mph.

The latest Tornado Warning issued for east central Albany County has been extended until 7 p.m.

Ping pong ball-sized hail was listed as an associated hazard, and local residents were warned to seek shelter in order to avoid flying debris.

A warning means at least one tornado has been reported.

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued Tornado Warnings for portions of southeastern Wyoming and the Panhandle of Nebraska until 5:45 p.m.
