
Cheyenne National Weather Service: Multiple Rounds Of Storms Possible
The Cheyenne Office Of the National Weather Service is warning about multiple rounds of storms developing as of Thursday afternoon.
The agency posted the following on Facebook shortly before 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon:
We are watching two areas of thunderstorms developing this afternoon. The first round over the High Plains will have the potential to produce isolated large hail & localized gusty winds. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.
Further west, a second round is moving into Carbon county and will shift eastward through the late evening hours today. Expect more widespread coverage of rainfall with this round along with additional strong, gusty winds.
