While winds of 90-109 miles per hour are not expected today or tomorrow in southeast Wyoming, gusts could hit the low to middle 80s range

Cheyenne and Laramie remain under a High Wind Warning through Saturday.

That weather pattern will change to rain and snow on Saturday night, followed by a cold, snowy day on Sunday.

That's according to the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service. The agency posted the following on its website:

While western Nebraska and far eastern Wyoming will get some relief tonight, High Winds are expected to continue along and west of I-25 through Saturday evening. Friday and Saturday's winds will not be quite as strong as Thursday, but may still cause localized additional wind damage and present a significant danger to light weight and high profile vehicles.

Jay Em, Wyoming, Frozen In Time

Jay Em, what an unusual name for a town. The few people who live there are proud of what their spot on earth once was, and they work to preserve it. They keep this little community frozen in time.
