Tenporary Traffic Signals Installed For Cheyenne Frontier Days

Four temporary traffic signals have been placed at the intersection of West 8th Avenue and Carey Avenue in the Frontier Park area to enhance safety during Cheyenne Frontier Days 2024.

That's according to a post on the Cheyenne Police Department Facebook page. According to the post:

Here is what you need to know:

- Treat the intersection as any other road with traffic lights and obey the signals.

- Pedestrians should also obey traffic signals and use marked crosswalks.

- During peak travel times (after rodeos and night shows for example) the signals will be shut off and officers will be directing traffic.

The ''Dueces Wild Task Force"

The Cheyenne Police Department and Laramie County Sheriff's Office will be joined by several other regional law enforcement agencies for a special enforcement effort that has been dubbed the "Deuces Wild Dui Task Force."
