Cheyenne Frontier Days officials say concerns over liability and increasing incidents of vandalism have led them to close Frontier Park to the public except during public events. That's according to a CFD news release. While several agencies took part in the "Deuces Wild" enforcement effort, it was coordinated through the sheriff's office.

The release says police dealt with 2,447 incidents this year, compared to 2,450 in 2023. But they made almost 50 percent more arrests with 66 this year.

Those calls include calls for service for firefighters, EMS, and Police.
