Cheyenne police are investigating after shots were fired at a house early yesterday (Thursday) morning.

Officer Kevin Malatesta says police were called to the 400 block of Bent Avenue around 4 a.m.

"They found that the house had been shot at several times," said Malatesta. "No people were injured. A dog was struck in the paw, but not a major injury."

Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call Crime Stoppers Silent Witness at (307) 638-TIPS.

"If there's any vehicle information or suspect information that people can provide to us it'd be greatly appreciated," said Malatesta.
