Weather forecasters with the Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service are warning about the possibility of yet another round of strong to severe storms on Monday afternoon.

Some of the storms could produce up to quarter size hail and strong, damaging winds. The agency posted this statement on its website on Monday morning:

''Little change is expected in the overall weather pattern with adequate moisture and instability combining to produce scattered showers and thunderstorms again this afternoon and evening. A few strong to severe storms are possible, mainly east of Interstate 25, with hail and brief strong winds the primary threats. Keep aware of weather conditions especially if outside and move to shelter if storms threaten.''
