Heavy mountain snow combined with wind gusts as high as 60 mph could make travel "very difficult" in southeast Wyoming Friday and Saturday, the National Weather Service in Cheyenne says.
Five to seven inches of snow coupled with winds gusting as high as 55 mph could make for very difficult travel on Interstate 80 between Laramie and Cheyenne Thursday.
Winds have really been cranking across much of southeast Wyoming and the Nebraska Panhandle this morning, according to the National Weather Service in Cheyenne.
Portions of Interstate 80 in southeast Wyoming could see gusts up to 65 mph tomorrow through Saturday, which, combined with the recent snow, could make for ground blizzard conditions.
