Search Continues for Cheyenne Woman’s Alleged Killer
Police are continuing their search for a 57-year-old Cheyenne man accused of killing his 21-year-old girlfriend.
Officers found Victoria Juarez's body in Emigdio Lara's home in the basement of Anong's restaurant around 11:45 a.m. Monday.
"Juarez had injuries consistent with blunt force trauma, strangulation, as well as several lacerations," said Officer Kevin Malatesta. "The cuts were on her left arm, stomach and neck."
"Officers are still searching for Lara and a warrant has been issued for his arrest for second-degree murder," Malatesta added.
Lara is a 5-foot-10, Hispanic man weighing about 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
