Registration Open for 2017 Wyoming Law Enforcement Memorial 5K

Registration is now open for this year's Wyoming Law Enforcement Memorial 5K.

"It'll be May 21," said Cheyenne Police Department spokesman Officer Kevin Malatesta. "We're doing it on a Sunday this year (because) there's another run going on on Saturday."

Proceeds from the 5K will go towards a bronze sculpture to honor Wyoming's fallen peace officers.

"We're doing an early bird special this year," said Malatesta. "If they register (before April 1) then it's $15, after that it's $25."

The 5K will start and finish at the Cheyenne Public Safety Center. Click here to register.
