We recently took an unscientific poll among our listening audience, to see where they stood on the daylight savings clock setting, that's gone on for so many years.

There were 401 voters, of which almost 82 percent said we should do away with daylight savings. About 16.5 percent of voters said they wanted to keep it with a small portion of voters stating other creative ways to save daylight.

Some said, "set it and forget it", while another posted, "just stay on daylight savings time."

That's great that our voters have weighed in, but until we hear differently, we'll be setting our clocks back on Sunday, November 6, 2016.
