A spokesman for the Cheyenne Police Department says so far there have been no reported cases in the capitol city of people becoming ill after ingesting "spice'', or synthetic marijuana. Casper authorities reported last week that a number of people had sought medical attention after ingesting blue-berry flavored spice. That included at least three cases of kidney failure, and the state Department of Health on Friday warned state residents to stay away from spice. Sgt. Rob Dafoe says it appears in the Natrona County case that either the substance had been tampered with or that it was a variety sold only in the Casper area.
