Cheyenne Police have identified the man who was killed in a Friday shootout with CPD Officers.

Cheyenne Police Department spokeswoman Alex Farkas says officers were called to a home near the 5200 block of Fishing Bridge on a report of a domestic disturbance with a firearm at 6;18 p.m. on Friday.

Reports Indicated That A Gun Was Being Fired At The Scene

Police dispatch told officers that reports indicated that a man later identified as 47-year-old Patrick Flores of Cheyenne was shooting the gun and that his wife was screaming. Farkas says officers went to the home's front door and told the people inside to come out, but got no response.

They heard a woman scream from inside and broke down the front door to get in. As officers went inside they encountered Flores firing his gun and they returned fire. Flores was shot and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Incident Is Under DCI Investigation

Per CPD policy the three officers involved in the shooting have been placed on administrative leave while the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation investigates the incident.

Outstanding Graffiti Train Passes Through Wyoming

We all see the graffiti on trains that pass through Wyoming.

But have you ever paused just a moment to look at it?

A lot is garbage.

But some of this still can be considered art.

Even great art.

Other times it's just an interesting message.
