Man Injured in Cheyenne Hit-and-Run; Driver Sought

Police are looking for the driver of a car that hit an 18-year-old man in east Cheyenne Tuesday afternoon.

Officer Kevin Malatesta says the man was walking along McCann Avenue north of E. Lincolnway around 3:30 p.m. when he was hit by a dark-colored Volkswagen sedan with Wyoming plates.

Malatesta says the man suffered minor injuries, but refused to be transported to the hospital.

Police say the car may have damage to the front bumper and hood.
