Man Charged in Attempted Razor Blade Attack at Cheyenne Walmart

A 28-year-old Cheyenne man has been charged with aggravated assault following a fight at the Walmart on Dell Range.

Court records say police were called to the store around 2:45 p.m. Monday after Matthew Carabajal-Jacoby allegedly threatened a person with a razor blade.

Surveillance video shows Carabajal-Jacoby opening the knife and lunging at the person, with whom he was involved in a fight.

Carabajal-Jacoby was arrested and booked into the Laramie County jail where he's currently being held on a $5,000 cash bond.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Aug. 8 at 1:30 p.m.
