If you are nostalgic, love history and Christmas decor, then you'll not want to miss what they have going on at the Historic Governors' Mansion.  The Historic Governors' Mansion is inviting you to this years theme entitled: Tinsel Through Time: Presents Under the Tree.

This walk through the mansion will showcase what Christmas was at the mansion in the past. Not only will you find out what the trees looked like through the decades, but also some of the toys and gifts that you would have found under the tree.

The toys on display are from the collection of the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum holiday decor. Why was it that silver was used for many ornaments prior to the 1940's? Why did manufacturer's go to paper instead? You can find out all of the answers to these questions and more, when you visit the Historic Governors' Mansion in Cheyenne.

You can help them kick off the event this Friday, November 21, 2014 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. for a tour and refreshments afterward. The mansion is located at 300 E 21st Street in Cheyenne.
