The National Weather Service has issued flood advisories for the Laramie County area for the next 3-7 days.

County roads in low-lying areas and drainages are already experiencing standing and moving water due to snow melt and runoff. Warmer temperatures over the next few days are expected to worsen the situation as snow continues to melt.

The Laramie County Public Works Department advise motorists to choose alternate routes anywhere they encounter a barricade.

Areas marked with small foldout barricades, cones or flags are considered passable, but may have 3-4 inches of water on the road and road damage underneath.
