One resident told Townsquare Media that her family is "devastated and scared." She says they are saddened that they "haven't had much help from the city."
One area resident told Townsquare Media that the damage to her family's home has been estimated at $80,000, and she says their insurance won't cover the cost of the damage.
The Cheyenne Office of the National Weather Service has issued a flood watch for parts of Albany and Laramie counties in Wyoming and Kimball County in Nebraska.
The watch remains in effect until 6 a.m. on Saturday.
