The first of four scheduled Cheyenne Frontier Days 2019 Grand Parades wound its way through downtown Cheyenne on Saturday morning.

Onlookers enjoyed a break from the recent 90-plus degree temperatures with cooler, breezy weather and partly cloudy skies as marching bands, parade floats, local dignitaries, politicians, and of course lots of horses and riders promenaded through the historic downtown area.

Additional CFD Grand Parades are scheduled for 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings of CFD week.

The parade will alternate mornings with the annual CFD Pancake Breakfasts, a free event that is held at the Cheyenne Depot Plaza on Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning.
