Cheyenne Woman Gets 5.5 Years for Drug Trafficking
A 58-year-old Cheyenne woman has been sentenced to 5.5 years in federal prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Wyoming announced late Monday afternoon.
Traffic Stop
According to a booking sheet, Bobbi Lee King, also known as Arnold/Fowler, was arrested on Aug. 6, 2024, after a Laramie County Sheriff's deputy stopped her at mile marker 5 on Happy Jack Road.

During the traffic stop, a narcotics K-9 was deployed, and the dog alerted on King's Ford F-150.
A search of King's pickup resulted in approximately 30 grams of methamphetamine and 18.9 grams of fentanyl being seized.
Search Warrant
The deputy says the traffic stop was conducted in relation to a search warrant conducted at King's home.
According to court documents, in May of 2024, agents with the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation were monitoring King’s house for potential drug trafficking, and through their investigation, gathered enough probable cause for the search warrant.
In addition to the drugs seized in her pickup and home, King reportedly admitted to distributing methamphetamine and fentanyl to several people in Cheyenne.
King was indicted on Sept. 18, 2024, pled guilty on Nov. 8, 2024, and U.S. District Court Judge Kelly H. Rankin imposed the sentence on Jan. 24.
King will be subject to three years of supervised release once she's released from prison.
