Man Hit With Felony Following Alleged Crowbar Attack in Cheyenne
A 32-year-old Vineland, New Jersey man is facing a felony charge following an alleged crowbar attack in northwest Cheyenne.
Physical Disturbance Call Leads to Felony Arrest
According to a booking sheet, police were called to a physical disturbance at the Verizon at 1650 Dell Range Blvd. at 2:02 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10, and contacted Anthony Joseph Giordano Jr.
Police say an investigation revealed Giordano used a crowbar and struck another male, causing severe injuries to his face.
Giordano was arrested and taken to the Laramie County Detention Center without issue.
Giordano Charged With Aggravated Assault, Property Destruction
Giordano was subsequently charged with aggravated assault and battery - bodily injury with a deadly weapon, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
He was also charged with misdemeanor property destruction.
Bond Set at $2.5K Cash
Giordano made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Wednesday, Nov. 13, during which his bond was set at $2,500 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Monday, Nov. 18 at 11 a.m.
