Cheyenne Man Charged With Aggravated Assault, Unlawful Entry
A 36-year-old Cheyenne man is facing multiple charges, including two felony counts, after being picked up on a warrant.
According to a booking sheet, on Thursday, June 20 at about 12:10 p.m., police conducted a field interview at Truss Craft at 650 Echostar Dr. for a wanted person.
Police say staff informed them that the wanted person, Christian Richard Jones, was there working. Jones was contacted and taken into custody without issue.
Police say Jones had an active felony warrant for felony aggravated assault and battery - threatens to use a drawn deadly weapon, felony unlawful entry into an occupied structure, misdemeanor domestic battery, and misdemeanor property destruction.
Laramie County Circuit Court Judge Antoinette Williams signed the warrant on June 17, 2024.
Bond Set at $7.5K Cash
Jones was booked into the Laramie County Detention Center on his warrant and was seen on the charges Friday afternoon, June 21.
His bond was set at $7,500 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for June 28 at 9:00 a.m.
