
Bond Set at $6K Cash for Cheyenne Man Charged With Felony Theft
A 54-year-old Cheyenne man is being held on a $6,000 cash bond after allegedly committing felony theft.
According to a booking sheet, Michael Dale Yates was arrested at his home in the 700 block of Broken Wheel Court at 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, after police were called to the home to assist an outside agency.
Warrant for Felony Theft
Police say Yates had a warrant out of Laramie County Circuit Court for felony theft, a crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.
Judge Sean C. Chambers signed the warrant on March 25, 2025.

Bond Set at $6K Cash
On Friday, April 4, Yates was seen in Circuit Court on the charge.
His bond was set at $6,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Friday, April 11, at 11 a.m.
