
Cheyenne Police Catch Habitual Drug Offender With Meth, Fentanyl
A 37-year-old Cheyenne woman is facing felony charges after reportedly, once again, being caught with drugs.
According to a booking sheet, Melinda Kay Sandoval was arrested at 6:17 a.m. on Saturday, April 19, after police contacted her at the intersection of East 4th Street and Maxwell Avenue.

Investigation Leads to Meth, Fentanyl
Police say during the investigation it was discovered that Sandoval, who has more than three prior convictions for drug possession, had 8.6 grams of methamphetamine on her as well as four fentanyl pills.
Sandoval was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where she was booked without incident.
Sandoval Hit With Felony Charges
Sandoval was subsequently charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance - third or subsequent offense, a felony punishable by up to five years in prison, up to a $5,000 fine, or both.
Bond Set at $10K Cash
Sandoval made her initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Monday, April 21, during which her bond was set at $10,000 cash and her preliminary hearing was scheduled for Wednesday, April 30, at 2:30 p.m.
