Cheyenne Police Nab Another One of Laramie County's 'Most Wanted'

The Cheyenne Police Department on Tuesday took down another one of Laramie County's "Most Wanted" fugitives.

According to a booking sheet, 50-year-old Cheyenne resident Patrick Benjamin Pacheco was taken into custody at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore at 715 E. 15th St. at 4:15 p.m. on July 9, 2024, after police were called to the location for a possible wanted person.

Police say Pacheco identified himself as "Leroy Mata," but they knew who he was and were able to confirm his identity using prior booking photos and his tattoos, which matched those listed on his previous booking file.

Police say Pacheco had a felony warrant for probation violation with an original charge of possession of methamphetamine.

Laramie County District Court Judge Catherine Rogers signed the warrant on May 30, 2024, and Pacheco was added to the Most Wanted list on June 13, 2024.

Pacheco was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where he was booked on his warrant.

He was also served a summons for false ID and issued a criminal trespass warning for the location.

"Thank you Cheyenne Police Department for picking up one of our most wanted," the Sheriff's Office in a Facebook post on Wednesday morning said.

Britney Breazeale, Akmir Brown, and Shannon Brown, who were added to the list on April 18, 2024.

And Nicholas Terry, who was added to the list on June 21, 2024.

Informants will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.

All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
