Cheyenne/Laramie County SWAT Team Deployed To Arrest Colorado Fugitive
The Cheyenne/Laramie County SWAT team was deployed on Thursday afternoon in the 2600 block of Sagebrush Avenue to arrest a Colorado fugitive on a warrant.
High Risk Warrant Arrest Made
That's according to a post on the Cheyenne Police Department Facebook page. The post says there was a "large law enforcement presence" in conjunction with the service of what the post calls a "high-risk warrant."
The post did not immediately identify the man arrested, but says "an update with suspect information will be provided."
The arrest went off without incident, according to the post. The area was cleared, and CPD says there is no safety threat to the public.
