Another fugitive on the Laramie County Sheriff's Office's Most Wanted list has been captured, the second this month.

According to a booking sheet, 60-year-old Cheyenne transient John Patrick Pino was taken into custody at the Horse Palace at 1802 Dell Range Blvd., Suite 3 at 6:11 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, after police were dispatched to the location for a wanted person.

Police say Pino had two warrants out of Laramie County.

The first was for failure to appear on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance and was signed by Circuit Court Judge Antoinette Williams on Jan. 5, 2024.

The second was for failure to appear on an original charge of failure to register as a sex offender which was signed by District Court Judge Catherine Rogers on Jan. 11, 2024.

Police say when they contacted Pino, he gave them a false name and date of birth.

Pino also reportedly had 13.13 grams of methamphetamine and a glass pipe on him.

Pino was booked into the Laramie County Detention Center on his warrants and for misdemeanor interference with a peace officer - no injury, felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and felony possession of a controlled substance - third or subsequent offense.

UPDATE:

Pino was seen on his Circuit Court warrant and the felony possession of methamphetamine charge on Thursday afternoon.

His total bond was set at $4,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for April 18 at 3 p.m.
