A 33-year-old Cheyenne man will spend the next several years in prison for sexually abusing a minor.

Laramie County District Court Judge Catherine R. Rogers on Thursday sentenced Christopher Ledney to six to 10 years in prison.

According to a Cheyenne Police Department Facebook post, Ledney's case started in September 2022, after an officer was dispatched to a report of a sexual assault involving a minor.

"Investigators were able to determine that Christopher Ledney had abused the minor multiple times from April 2021 through June 2021," the post reads.
