
Police Nab Cheyenne Man Wanted for Aggravated Assault
A 54-year-old Cheyenne man is facing a felony charge after allegedly committing aggravated assault.
According to a booking sheet, Gary Brent Weathermon was arrested at 11:13 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, after police were dispatched to his home in the 3500 block of Dunn Avenue for a wanted person.

Felony Warrant
Police say Weathermon had a warrant out of Laramie County for aggravated assault and battery - threatens to use a drawn deadly weapon, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
Circuit Court Judge Antoinette Wiliams signed the warrant on Monday, March 3.
Weathermon was taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where he was booked on his warrant.
Bond Set at $5K Cash or Surety
On Thursday, March 6, Weathermon was seen in Circuit Court on the charge.
His bond was set at $5,000 cash or surety, and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Friday, March 14, at 9:45 a.m.
