
Cheyenne Man Hit With Felony Drug Charge After Hitting Brother With 2×2
A 56-year-old Cheyenne man is facing charges, including a felony drug possession charge, after reportedly hitting his brother with a 2x2.
Police Called to Domestic Disturbance
According to a booking sheet, police were called to a domestic disturbance at 7:19 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 21.

Brother Hit With 2x2
Police say they contacted Victor Joseph Lopez, who told them that he hit his brother, who lives at the same address, with a 2x2 piece of wood approximately three feet long.
Police say Lopez's brother had a red mark on his left arm, which started showing a bruise from a large blunt object, and also said Lopez hit him with the piece of wood.
Lopez was handcuffed and taken to the Laramie County Detention Center, where he was booked for misdemeanor domestic battery.
Fanny Pack With Fentanyl
Then later, officers found a fanny pack with a check and 4.45 grams of fentanyl on the street where Lopez's vehicle was parked.
Lopez was subsequently charged with misdemeanor domestic battery and felony possession of fentanyl.
Bond Set at $3K Cash
Lopez made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Tuesday, Feb. 25, during which his bond was set at $3,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 at 2:30 p.m.
