Disturbance Call Leads to Wanted Man's Arrest

Police say they contacted Pacheco fleeing the scene, and when they ordered him to identify himself, he initially refused and eventually told them his first name was "Trinidad."

Police say Pacheco ultimately provided his information and was found to have an active warrant out of Laramie County for misdemeanor theft.

Circuit Court Judge Sean C. Chambers signed the warrant on Jan. 13.

Police say they interviewed the reporting parties and determined Pacheco had stolen more than $1,000 worth of property from the bed of the victim's truck.

Police say the victim and reporting parties were able to recover their property before they arrived on the scene, and multiple witnesses identified Pacheco as the suspect.

Pacheco was arrested and booked into the Laramie County Detention Center on his warrant as well as charges of interference with a peace officer - no injury and burglary.

Theft + Burglary Charges

On Feb. 3, Pacheco was seen in Circuit Court on the misdemeanor theft charge and two other felony charges, including theft and burglary, both punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.

Total Bond Set at $1,500 Cash

Pacheco's total bond was set at $1,500 cash and his next court hearings were scheduled for Feb. 12 at 2:30 p.m.

Please remember that all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
