Cheyenne Man Caught on Camera Stealing From Neighbor, Police Say
A 65-year-old Cheyenne man is facing a felony charge after police say he was caught on camera stealing from his neighbor.
According to a booking sheet, Larry Brent Palmer was contacted at his apartment at 561 W. 6th St. at 9:19 a.m. on Monday, May 6, after police were called to the location about a burglary.
Police say the day prior; Palmer was seen on security video entering the neighboring apartment and stealing property from inside.
Police say Palmer did not have the authority to be in the apartment.
Palmer was arrested and subsequently charged with burglary, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison, up to a $10,000 fine, or both.
He made his initial appearance in Laramie County Circuit Court on Wednesday morning, during which his bond was set at $3,000 cash and his preliminary hearing was scheduled for May 15 at 3 p.m.
